确定公司是真实有效的，而非空壳挂靠公司：公司是美国实体，拥有美国国税局(IRS)签发的雇主识别号码(EIN Number)、有真实有效的办公地址、官方网站等信息，以及有真实和正常的运营状态。
确定岗位所属行业最低工资标准：公司对于你的岗位所能够支付的是符合最低工资标准(Prevailing Wage)的工资。如果你的工资不符合这个条件，你当下需要尽早与雇主协商调整工资到符合要求的水平。
确定岗位以及工作内容与你的专业对口/相关联：公司所提供给你的岗位是真实有效的，并且这个岗位和工作内容与你的学历、经验、背景是相关联的。这一点可以通过你的Job Description、Training Plan、日常工作内容记录以及和你专业有匹配。
2. “我们公司很小，也可以帮我提交H1B申请吗？”
如果要帮员工申请H1B，雇主没有在规模/员工数量上的明确硬性要求。即使是员工人数不多、公司规模较小的初创公司，只要符合上面提到的三点要求，公司财务状况良好能够支付员工薪水和保证公司正常运营的话，极大概率也是符合H-1B申请资质的。但是如果是纯粹烧钱的初创公司，除非有funding融资进入，否则就会有些困难。
另外，不同规模的公司需要支付不同水平的教育及培训费用：少于 25名全职员工时，雇主需要支付$750；大于或等于25名全职员工时，雇主需要支付$1,500；大于或等于50名全职员工，并且超过50%以上的员工是 H1B/L1身份的话，雇主需要支付$4,000。
3. “我只有1年OPT”、“这是我最后一次H1B抽签机会了”... 可以找多雇主抽签吗？
每个国际留学生在美国求职已经非常不易，而每年参加抽签的机会是更加宝贵的，为了增加H1B中签几率，寻找多位雇主为你参加今年的H1B申请是可行的方案。在1月-3月期间，你可以多找几个符合H1B申请资质的美国雇主。
但是需要注意的是，这些公司不能是有关联关系的公司（包括母公司、子公司、附属公司等关系）！一旦被移民局查证，哪怕你已经中签，移民局也会发放拒批意向通知书（NOID）。
4. “我还没毕业，但我想多一次抽签机会，可以吗？”
假设你是2023年5月或者12月毕业，但已经拿到了能够sponsor 今年H1B抽签的offer，你是可以参加2023年的H1B抽签申请的。
