马上就要进入2023年，对于很多在北美工作的小伙伴来说就意味着现在就要开始准备起来H1B的抽签了。H1B每年的流程和时间都不太一样，具体的要等到明年2月移民局明确说后才可知道，但针对往年的情况，我们给大家捋一下从现在开始H1B抽签时间线是什么样的。
【Now - 2023年2月底】申请筹备阶段
往年情况来看每年移民局会在3月初开启H1B网上注册窗口，在此之前，我们都可以作为正式申请前的申请筹备阶段。
首先需要找到愿意sponsor H1B并且符合H1B资质的雇主，这个可以直接和公司或者在myvisa jobs等网站上确认。你也可以找到更多愿意sponsor H1B的雇主来增大你的中签概率。
其次，你还需要确定公司是否有办理H1B的法律团队，如果没有需要自己去找靠谱的律所。
【2023年3月中上旬】提交申请阶段
从2020年开始，移民局对于H1B抽签申请是先在移民局官网完成Electronic Registration Process，一般窗口有两个星期左右，一定要让公司或者律师在这段时间帮你完成注册。
电子注册申请需要雇主有注册账号，包含雇主的基本信息。这里一个雇主只能为同一个员工注册一次，如果重复申请会被视作无效”Denied”，所以一定要核实注意避免。
电子注册申请还需要提供申请人/受益人的姓名、性别、生日、学历等等信息，并且需要缴纳10美金的注册费用。
【2023年3月底/4月初】结果公布阶段
移民局通常会在3月底或4月初开始给出第一轮H1B抽签的结果，一般是通过雇主在申请账户中选择的邮件或短信的通知方式来告知。
如果是中签，那么你的申请状态会显示”Selected”
没有中签的话则仍显示“Submitted“，等待可能到来的下一轮“海底捞”补抽。
【2023年4月-9月】材料准备与递交阶段
如果你是被抽中的幸运儿，那么通常你最早可以在2023年4月1日开始向移民局提交申请材料，包括要在90天内让公司申请LCA（Labor Condition Application)。
如果遇到RFE的情况，请务必在移民局给出的due date前提交回应的补充材料。
【2023年10月1日】 H1B正式生效
如果你的材料准备的齐全和正确，通常会在10月1日前收到你的H1B Approval通知。
